Photo & signature resizer
Resize a photo or signature to exact pixels, a chosen format and a target size in KB. Crop first if needed. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
How to use this tool
- Choose an image.
- Optionally tick Crop before resizing and drag the box, or type exact coordinates.
- Set width and height in pixels, or use the sliders.
- Pick a fit mode, format and quality; add a target size in KB if you need one.
- Check the verified result size, then download.
When to use it
- Meeting an online form's size in pixels and a maximum in KB.
- Preparing a signature image with a clean white background.
- Switching between JPEG, PNG and WebP for an upload.
Limits
Target size is best effort and can fail on large or detailed images. PNG cannot be shrunk by quality. Very large images (over 40 megapixels) are refused. Processing uses the browser, so very large files can be slow on older phones.
Privacy and file handling
Your image is processed on your device using canvas and is not uploaded by this page.
Troubleshooting
If the target is not reached, lower the dimensions or switch to JPEG or WebP. If a photo looks rotated, reload it: orientation data is applied on load.
Frequently asked questions
Why did my target size fail?
Detailed or large images may stay above a small target even at low quality. Reduce width and height, or use JPEG or WebP.
Is my image uploaded?
No. This page processes it in your browser using canvas.
How do I clean up a signature?
Turn on the cleanup option, raise the threshold slowly, and compare with the original. Thin strokes can vanish.
How do I get a photo under 50 KB?
Set the pixel size the form asks for, enter 50 as the target in KB and resize. The tool lowers quality as needed and reports the final size; the result is best effort and not guaranteed.
Can it clean a signature background?
Yes. Turn on the clean-background option and adjust the threshold until the strokes stay readable.
