Summary

The tools on this website work on your device. The files you open in them are read and processed by your browser, and they are not uploaded to this website’s server or to any file-processing service. This policy explains what that means in practice.

What the website processes

Files you choose or drop into a tool, such as PDFs, images, Word files and ZIP files, and text you type, such as resume details, invoice items and QR code content. This information is used only to produce the result you ask for.

What happens locally

Merging, splitting, organising, rotating, compressing, converting, signing, editing, filling, numbering, watermarking, protecting and unlocking PDFs, and extracting images, tables and scanned text (OCR) from them; resizing, cropping, compressing, converting and joining images; building resumes, cover letters, invoices and checklists; creating QR codes and ZIP files; and reading ZIP contents all run in your browser using code and libraries loaded into the page. In our code review and in network checks we ran on the tools, no file contents, extracted text or filenames were sent anywhere. Those checks covered the tools we tested and were run on a local copy of the site, so they do not describe the behaviour of any hosting service.

Requests the website does make

Like any website, loading the page and its files is a network request, and the service that delivers them may keep standard technical logs such as your IP address, the address requested, your browser type and the time. We have not verified what that service records. The pdf-lib library is served by this website itself, from the same place as the page. The pdf.js and QR code libraries are also served by this website, so no tool loads code from another website. If a library cannot be loaded, the affected tool shows a message and does not work.

Data saved in your browser

The resume builder saves your resume text, your chosen theme and any optional photo or signature in your browser’s local storage on your device so you do not lose your work. It is not sent to us. You can remove it with “Clear saved data” on the How your files are handled page, with “Reset all” in the resume builder, or by clearing site data in your browser. Other tools keep your files only in memory while the page is open. Results are created in memory and offered as downloads to your device. Temporary links used for previews and downloads are released when you leave a tool or shortly after a download.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The website’s own code does not set cookies and contains no analytics or tracking scripts. Advertising is switched off: the Google AdSense code is prepared but is not loaded and no ads are shown. If advertising is turned on, we will update this policy first and ask for consent before loading it where the law requires, using a certified consent tool. Your browser or the hosting service may still handle cookies or logs that we do not control.

Security and your choices

Processing in your browser avoids sending your files to us, but it cannot protect against risks on your own device, such as malware, browser extensions or other people using a shared computer. Avoid opening sensitive documents on shared or untrusted devices. We cannot promise absolute security. You can use the tools without creating an account, clear saved data at any time, and stop using the site whenever you like.

How long data is kept

We do not receive your files, so we do not hold them. Data saved in your browser stays until you clear it. Retention of any server logs depends on the hosting service.
