Using the website

These terms apply when you use this website and its tools. By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. The tools are in beta and may change.

Acceptable use

Use the tools only for lawful purposes. Do not use the website to process content you have no right to use, to spread malware, to interfere with or overload the website, or to try to break or bypass its limits or the libraries it relies on.

Your files and your responsibility

Your files stay on your device and remain yours. You are responsible for having the right to open, convert, edit, sign or share the documents you process, and for the choices you make about them.

What the tools can and cannot do

Results depend on your files and your browser. In particular: Compress PDF rebuilds pages as images, so text can become unselectable, links and forms can be lost, and the file can come out larger. PDF to Word and Word to PDF keep text only; layout, images, fonts and table structure are not preserved. OCR (reading text in scans) and PDF to Excel are best effort: they can make mistakes, and OCR supports only the languages listed on its page. Sign PDF places a picture of a signature. It is not a cryptographic or qualified digital signature and does not verify identity or guarantee legal validity. Edit PDF adds new text on top of a page; it does not edit existing text. Fill PDF Form works only with real form fields. Photo, signature and passport size presets are generic and are not official requirements; always follow the instructions of the organisation you are applying to. File-size targets are best effort. Protect PDF adds an opening password with AES-128 encryption and is not a guarantee of security; Unlock PDF only works with the correct password and does not recover forgotten ones. DOCX resume export and background removal are not available.

Check your results

File processing can lose quality or change formatting. Keep your original files, and open and check every result before you rely on it or send it to anyone.

Availability and changes

The website and its tools are provided on an as-available basis. They may contain errors, be interrupted, change or be withdrawn at any time. Tools that depend on libraries loaded from other services stop working when those cannot be loaded.

Ownership

The website’s design, text, code and brand belong to its operator. Open-source libraries used by the tools remain under their own licences. Nothing in these terms gives you ownership of the website or its brand.

Legal rights

The tools are provided as they are, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms removes or limits any right or liability that cannot be removed or limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the website changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
