Fill PDF form

Fill the real form fields in a PDF, such as text boxes, checkboxes and dropdowns, and save the completed file. Runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a PDF that has form fields.
  2. Fill the fields listed.
  3. Optionally lock the values.
  4. Save and check the result in a PDF viewer.

Before you start

Many official forms are built with fillable fields. This tool lists the fields it finds and lets you type into text boxes, tick checkboxes and choose from dropdowns, then saves a completed copy. If the form has no fields it is just a picture of a form, and you can type over it with Add Text to a PDF. Always reopen the saved file to confirm every entry appears.

When to use it

Limits

Only real form fields are listed. Scanned or flat PDFs have none; use Edit PDF instead. Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Non-Latin characters may be rejected by the form’s font. Some fields (such as signature fields and buttons) are not editable here.

Privacy and file handling

Processed in your browser with pdf-lib, served by this site. Nothing is uploaded.

Troubleshooting

If no fields appear, the PDF is probably flat. If a value is rejected, remove special characters.
